Here's a delicious recipe and some useful and flavorful tips for Tandoori Chicken Tikka ๐๐ฅ
๐ Ingredients (Serves 3โ4)
For Chicken
Chicken (tikka pieces or leg pieces) โ 500g
Lemon juice ๐ โ 1 tbsp
Oil or melted butter โ 2 tbsp
First Marinade
PIKS Black Salt โ ยฝ tsp
PIKS Chaat Masala โ ยฝ tsp
Lemon juice โ 1 tbsp
Gingerโgarlic paste โ 1 tbsp
Second Marinade (Main Masala Mix)
Thick curd โ ยฝ cup
PIKS Tandoori Chicken Masala โ 2 to 3 tbsp
PIKS Red Chilli Powder โ ยฝ tsp (extra heat & colour, optional)
PIKS Garam Masala โ ยฝ tsp
Kasuri methi โ ยฝ tsp
Mustard oil โ 1โ2 tbsp
Cornflour or besan โ 1 tsp
๐ฅฃ Preparation
๐ธ 1. Prepare Chicken
Wash, pat dry, and make deep cuts on the chicken for better marination.
๐ธ 2. First Marinade
Mix together:

PIKS Chaat Masala
Lemon juice
Gingerโgarlic paste
Rub this mixture into the chicken and let it rest for 20 minutes.
๐ธ 3. Second Marinade (Flavor Boost with PIKS)
In a bowl, combine:
Curd
PIKS Tandoori Chicken Masala
PIKS Red Chilli Powder
PIKS Garam Masala
Kasuri methi
Mustard oil
Cornflour/besan
Mix to form a smooth paste.
Coat the chicken pieces well.
Marinate for minimum 2 hours, or overnight for the best flavour.
๐ฅ 4. Cooking Methods
A. Oven / OTG
Preheat to 220ยฐC.
Arrange chicken on a greased tray.
Cook 20 minutes, flip, brush with butter, and cook another 15โ20 minutes.
Broil for 3โ4 minutes for a charred finish.
B. Grill / Gas Tandoor
Grill the chicken for 15โ20 minutes, turning and brushing with butter.
Cook until you get that smoky tandoori char.
C. Tawa / Pan Method
Heat oil in a heavy pan.
Place marinated chicken, cover, and cook on low flame for 20โ25 minutes.
Flip and roast until crisp and lightly charred.

Heat a charcoal piece until red-hot.
Place in a small bowl inside the chicken bowl.
