๐ Ingredients
For the Chillies
8โ10 long green chillies (mild variety) ๐ถ๏ธ
2 tbsp oil (preferably peanut or sesame oil)
For the Nutty Paste
2 tbsp peanuts ๐ฅ
1 tbsp white sesame seeds
ยผ cup fresh grated coconut ๐ฅฅ
1 tbsp roasted chana dal
1 small onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic
Water (to grind)
For the Curry Base
3 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
1 tsp cumin seeds
8โ10 curry leaves ๐ฟ
1 medium onion, finely chopped ๐ง
1 tbsp ginger-garlic paste
1 cup water (adjust consistency)
Salt to taste

Step 1: Prep the Chillies
Wash and slit green chillies lengthwise ๐ถ๏ธ.
Heat 2 tbsp oil in a pan and shallow-fry the chillies until blistered and slightly soft.
Remove and keep aside.
Step 2: Make the Nutty Paste
Dry roast peanuts and sesame seeds until aromatic ๐ฅโจ.
Cool slightly, then grind with coconut, roasted chana dal, onion, garlic, and water into a smooth, thick paste.
Step 3: Build the Base
Heat oil in a deep pan ๐ฅ.
Add mustard seeds and cumin seeds; let them splutter.
Add curry leaves and chopped onions; sautรฉ until golden ๐ง
