๐ Ingredients
For the Chilla Batter
1 cup yellow moong dal, soaked 4โ5 hours ๐
1 green chilli (optional) ๐ถ๏ธ
1 tsp ginger, chopped
Water (as needed, to grind)
Salt to taste

For Cooking

Step 1: Grind the Batter
Drain soaked moong dal and add it to a blender with green chilli and ginger ๐ฟ.
Grind to a smooth, thick batter, adding water little by little.
Transfer to a bowl and add salt, PIKS Turmeric, PIKS Zeera, PIKS Black Pepper, and PIKS Red Chilli Powder โจ.
Mix well and fold in optional veggies if using ๐.
Step 2: Heat the Tawa
Heat a non-stick or cast-iron tawa on medium heat ๐ฅ.
Lightly grease with oil or ghee.
Step 3: Spread & Cook
Pour a ladle of batter in the center and spread gently into a circle ๐ฅ.
Drizzle a little oil around the edges and cook until the base turns golden.
Step 4: Flip & Finish
Flip the chilla and cook the other side until lightly crisp and cooked through ๐.
Remove and repeat with remaining batter.
